  • Undertook feasibility studies for submarine cable installations for two alternative energy projects for a New Zealand State Owned Enterprise (2006);
  • Installation of an acoustic range cable for Australian Department of Defence, South Australia, (2005);
  • Vessel supply and all marine equipment and services for shallow-water repair of 350kV HVDC Cook Strait power cable for Transpower New Zealand (2005);
  • Multi-section re-lay and repair of a submarine fibre-optic cable system, Indonesia/Malaysia, for NSW (2005);
  • Installation of 24 power and fibre optic cables and 64 anode sleds and cables in the Abu Safah oil field for NPCC, Saudi Arabia (2004/05);
  • Repair of a near-shore submarine cable fault for TelstraClear, New Zealand (2005);
  • Installed a 41km long 33kV power & fibre optic umbilical cable from an existing platform to a new installation in the Persian Gulf (2003);
  • Laying of 2 x 40km DAH fibre optic cables across New Zealand’s Cook Strait, for Transpower New Zealand (2002);
  • Installation of a 1.5 km range cable in Darwin Harbour, including 1.5 km of split pipe installation, for the Australian Defence Department (2002);
  • Contractor for laying and mostly plough burial to 2 metre target depth, two segments of the 24-segment ARCOS-1 Caribbean fibre optic ring system for NSW GmbH & Co KG (part of system); Cable Details: NSW fibre optic cable, mostly 13 mm diameter lightweight (LW) cable but also some single armour (SA) cable (2001);
  • Lay and burial of 5 sections of cable totalling 615 km down New Zealand’s North Island West Coast, across Cook Strait and down the South Island East Coast to Christchurch for TelstraClear’s Aqualink festoon cable system, under a contract to Ericsson Communications Ltd; work scope included the route survey in Year 2000, beach landings and burial, cable laying and ROV-supported post-lay burial as required (2000, 2001);
  • Lay and burial of a new 198 km long Telecom New Zealand Cook Strait cable from Hokio Beach, Levin to Cable Bay, near Nelson for NSW GmbH & Co KG (2001);
  • Undertake shore end landings of Southern Cross Network fibre optic cables for Alcatel Submarine Networks, Hawaii (2000);
  • Installation of one 9km and one 3.5km Southern Cross shore end cables for Alcatel, involving foreshore burial and laying through the reef, Fiji (1999);
  • Lay and bury the Southern Cross shore end landing for Global Marine, Takapuna, New Zealand (1999);
  • Installation of the sea earth systems for Southern Cross (Alcatel) and PacRimEast (Telecom NZ) at Takapuna, New Zealand (1999);
  • Installation of shore end laying of fibre optic cable for Alcatel Submarine Networks, Muriwai, New Zealand (1999);
  • Undertake laying and burial to one metre of a 5.2km fibre optic cable and completion of two shore landings for Ericsson Networks, Wellington Harbour, New Zealand (1999);
  • Provision of marine technical consulting for two repairs of a submarine fibre optic cable in Cook Strait, New Zealand (1998, 2000);
  • Supply vessel and support services for ROV programmes associated with repairs of a submarine fibre optic cable in Cook Strait, New Zealand (1998, 2000);
  • Prime contractor for cable route pre-lay survey for a fibre optic coastal festoon cable in New Zealand (1999, 2000);
  • Trials of underwater matting for cable protection and operation of inspection class ROV’s in exposed waters with strong tidal streams, Cook Strait, NZ (1998);
  • Survey, design and construction of underwater structures for the stabilisation of suspensions on the Cook Strait power cables, New Zealand (1983-1986, 1989, 1991-1993, 1997, 1998);
  • Route survey for fibre optic cable across deep waters off New Zealand (1999);

  • Retrieval, cutting and capping of Cook Strait Power Cable No 2 for Transpower New Zealand Limited (1993);
  • Support for ROV inspection of damaged power cable in 170 metres of water, Cook Strait, New Zealand (1991, 1992, and 1993).
